Terracotta Pot Camillo

A piece of outdoor furniture, but also an essential item for hotels, restaurants, bars, pubs, shops, and living spaces. The timeless striped design enhances both classic and modern gardens. The striped Greek-style jug can be placed directly on the ground, or on a pedestal, a platform, or even a column. It is ideal for challenging locations since it requires no maintenance. At the same time, it can be planted or used as a planter. This terracotta vessel is part of a large collection of vases, jars, and planters featuring lines of varying thickness: a motif that has recurred since the time of the ancient Greeks. The motif of the “evergreen” stripe, which has reappeared time and again in fashion and on objects over the centuries, is often found in round or square shapes, with thin stripes - the so-called “millerighe” - or with wide and large stripes, either hollow or in relief. In the glazed version, these vessels were used as containers for foodstuffs such as oil and wine. Today, they serve as decorations. Handcrafted from Impruneta clay, frost-resistant down to -30°C. Over time, it develops a beautiful, vibrant appearance.
