Style Fountains: Bringing Italian, French and Spanish Garden Traditions Home

Stilbrunnen: Italienische, französische und spanische Gartenkunst im eigenen Garten

Some fountains are principally a water source. A style fountain is something else: it quotes a specific place - a Tuscan villa, a Provençal estate, an Andalusian courtyard - and carries that character into a garden that has never seen any of them. Revisage's style fountain range splits into three recognisable traditions, each with its own material, silhouette and demands on where it sits.

Italian villa fountains: Fontana Frosinone and Fontana Monterosso

The Style Fountain Fontana Frosinone (from €2,100.00) is made using traditional stone-casting technique, 154 cm tall with a 102 cm bowl, available in seven stone colours from Natural White to Old London Gloss across four components. The Style Fountain Fontana Monterosso (from €4,350.00) plays a different game: at just 105 cm tall, its basin spans 265 cm across - a fountain that spreads outward rather than upward, shown here in an optional Tufo Gloss patina, built from eleven components.

French antique fountains: Le Rove and Anduze I

The French Antique Fountain Le Rove (from €9,460.00) is carved from frost-resistant limestone, octagonal, with a central column and four water spouts, 165 cm tall and 160 cm across. The finish is deliberately handcrafted: small scratches in the stone are built into the manufacturing process, not a flaw, meant to preserve a nostalgic, lived-in look. The Wall Gardenfountain Natural Stone Anduze I (from €11,900.00) leaves the free-standing format behind for a wall-mounted one: solid French limestone, classic relief carving, 175 cm tall, 160 cm wide, 90 cm deep - built to be carried by a wall or façade rather than stand alone. Both models come in a choice of Estallades, Avion or Avion Patina limestone.

Spanish tiered fountains: Gijón and Marbella

The Style Fountain Gijón (from €1,550.00) is a finely detailed tiered fountain in frost-resistant natural stone, available in four sizes - from 113 cm tall and 91 kg at the smallest to 190 cm and 315 kg at the largest - plus three patina finishes: black/white, brown/white and ochre/white. The Style Fountain Marbella (from €1,650.00) is more compact (115 cm overall, 105 cm bowl diameter, three components) and deliberately made with small cracks and scratches worked into the surface - an aged character built into the design rather than a sign of wear.

Matching the style to the setting

Style Material Signature trait Entry price
Italian cast natural stone, seven colour options a clean silhouette or a wide, shallow basin from €2,100.00
French frost-resistant limestone, handcrafted relief carving, free-standing or wall-mounted from €9,460.00
Spanish frost-resistant natural stone, tiered multi-level silhouette across four sizes from €1,550.00

The Italian style suits a formal terrace with clean architecture behind it. The French antique fountains ask for a garden that already has mature walls or old trees - nothing that reads as new-build. The Spanish tiered fountains fit a courtyard or a sightline where the stepped movement of water is meant to be the point, not a backdrop.

What unites all three traditions is a refusal of the generic: each of these fountains arrives with a narrative older than the garden it lands in. The task is not choosing a fountain so much as deciding which narrative belongs on the property.
